Al Gurg Consultants is currently hiring for CIVIL INSPECTOR & MEP DRAFTSMAN for its Supervision of Building projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

JOB POSITIONS

- Civil Engineer
- Civil Inspector
- MEP Draftsman (BIM/REVIT)

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Qualification & Experience:

Civil Engineer:

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assigning the inspections to the site team and performing the site inspections as necessary to ensure the achievement of the best quality of work.
• Assisting the RE/PM in responding to the Contractual and Technical issues as directed.
• Coordination with MEP, Architectural, and structural teams to ensure proper execution of works.
• Direct the contractor to handle Authorities’ Inspections and record the Authority’s comments during inspection to ensure the contractor’s proper response.
• Follow up and inspect the Contractor’s Corrective Actions and the Contractor’s De-snagging.

Civil Inspector:

• Civil Engineering Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• To ensure accurate and timely inspections for Civil, Architectural, and Structural works as per approved plans/drawings in full compliance with all disciplines.
• Direct the contractor to handle Authorities’ Inspections and record the Authorities’ comments during inspection to ensure the contractor’s proper response.
• Respond to the contractor’s request for inspection; handle the inspection as per approved Shop Drawings and Submittals.
• Follow up and inspect the Contractor’s Corrective Actions and the Contractor’s De-snagging.

MEP Draftsman:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Diploma in AutoCAD.
• Must have min 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Sketch-up, Photoshop, AutoCAD, 3D Max, and Revit.

Job Responsibilities:

• Draft all MEP drawings / BIM Models in high quality and time efficiency.
• Create detailed BIM models for MEP elements using software like Revit, AutoCAD MEP, etc.
• Generate accurate construction documentation derived from MEP BIM models.
• Prepare the necessary CAD drawings for municipality/authority submission. And convert them to the required format.
• Manage revisions to reflect MEP design changes and as-built conditions.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must have good organizational skills, and the ability to meet initiated deadlines.
• Must Have experience in supervision and site activities.
• Must be goal-orientated, proactive, and energetic.
• Candidates must be available in UAE/Locally and can join immediately.
