Combined Group Contracting Co. (CGC)

Combined Group Contracting Company (CGC) is a Kuwaiti engineering and construction company founded in 1965. It started as a limited liability company, later became a publicly listed shareholding company, and now works across Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE and other international markets.

CGC builds large infrastructure: roads and highways, bridges, tunnels, oil and gas pipelines, civil works and power generation projects. It has delivered major pipeline projects for Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and Joint Operations (JO). In 2007 it moved into power generation with a contract to build, operate and maintain a 305 MW power plant in Subbiya, Kuwait.

The company runs its own asphalt plants, ready-mix concrete batching plants and a large fleet of heavy machinery and specialist equipment, and it continues to deliver infrastructure, energy and industrial projects with a focus on quality, safety and efficient delivery.
