Project Manager, Ashghal Building Project (Job Code JC26-154)
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- At least 15 years of overall construction experience, including 8 years planning and managing major international or regional projects of similar size at a senior level, the last 5 years as Project Manager.
- Membership of a chartered body is preferred, though a clear record of delivering successful projects is accepted instead.
- Good understanding of the main issues on projects of this kind, especially environmental impact and regional and local liaison.
- Proven experience in planning, execution, resource allocation, budgeting and delivery of large construction projects.
Planner, Construction (Job Code JC26-155)
- Civil Engineering qualification.
- 5 to 6 years of experience, including construction tender planning.
- Skilled in Primavera P6 and MS Excel, with experience preparing tender programmes in P6.
- Writes planning narratives covering execution strategy, construction sequence, key milestones, resource deployment and planning assumptions.
- Prepares plant and equipment schedules, manpower histograms, resource loading and S-curves.
- Works with the tender team so programmes meet tender requirements.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must be fluent in English.
- Previous experience on major building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction standards, project specifications and industry practice.
- Good reporting and coordination skills, and able to work to deadlines with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and quality procedures.
- A valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory. Candidates must be available in Qatar / Locally.
