Qualifications & requirements
Projects Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering; PMP preferred.
- 15+ years in UAE infrastructure, substations, HV cabling and project management.
Site Manager (Electrical)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 to 15 years in electrical site management on HV/MV substations and underground cabling.
Site Manager (Civil)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 to 15 years in UAE infrastructure, substation civil works, cable trenches and underground utilities.
Senior Electrical Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 to 12 years in HV/MV substations, power distribution, cable installation and electrical site supervision.
Senior Civil Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 to 12 years in infrastructure construction, substation foundations, reinforced concrete and underground cable works.
Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 to 12 years in HVAC, firefighting, plumbing and mechanical systems for substations and infrastructure.
Senior Electrical Engineer (Design)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 to 12 years in HV/MV substation design, underground cabling and electrical calculations, using ETAP and AutoCAD.
Senior QA/QC Engineer (Civil)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 to 12 years in civil QA/QC on infrastructure, substations and underground cabling, with ISO 9001 quality management.
Senior HSE Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety; NEBOSH preferred.
- 10 to 12 years in HSE management on UAE substations, HV cabling and infrastructure construction.
Senior Cable Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in installation and commissioning of substation and cabling projects (5 to 20 years across the advertised roles).
Engineer (Electrical / Civil / Mechanical)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5 to 8 years in the relevant discipline, ideally on UAE infrastructure, substation and cabling projects.
QA/QC Engineer (Civil)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 to 8 years in civil QA/QC inspection, concrete works, cable trenches, duct banks and infrastructure.
Electrical Engineer (Design)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 to 8 years in electrical design, HV/MV substations, cable sizing and power distribution, using AutoCAD and ETAP.
Civil Engineer (Design)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 to 8 years in civil and structural design for substations, foundations, cable trenches and underground infrastructure.
HSE Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety; NEBOSH preferred.
- 5 to 8 years in construction HSE, electrical safety, substations, underground cabling and infrastructure.
Cable Engineer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in installation and commissioning of substation and cabling projects (5 to 20 years across the advertised roles).
Senior HSE Officer / HSE Officer
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field; NEBOSH preferred.
- 7 to 10 years for Senior HSE Officer and 3 to 5 years for HSE Officer, on UAE infrastructure and electrical projects.
Supervisor (Electrical / Civil)
- Technical Diploma or relevant engineering certificate in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years in electrical or civil site supervision on substations, underground cabling and infrastructure.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must be fluent in English.
- 5 to 20 years of experience in installation and commissioning of substation and cabling projects.
- UAE experience on infrastructure, HV/MV substations, power transmission and underground cabling is highly preferred.
- Experience on DEWA, TRANSCO or other UAE utility projects is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of international standards, UAE construction rules, project specifications and HSE requirements.
- QA/QC candidates need experience with inspection procedures, ITPs, material approvals and quality systems.
- HSE candidates need relevant safety qualifications and electrical and infrastructure site safety experience.
