Al-Omaier Trading and Contracting Company is hiring the following professionals for its major railway project in Hail, Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications & requirements
Project Manager (Railway)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in railway construction and major infrastructure, including proven work as a Railway Project Manager.
- Wide knowledge of earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, drainage, railway track works and related infrastructure.
- Proven management of large railway projects: planning, scheduling, budgeting, resources and execution.
- Experience on Saudi railway projects, especially SAR projects, is preferred.
Contracts & Claims Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in contract administration, claims and commercial management on railway or major infrastructure projects.
- Wide knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contractual obligations, specifications and conditions of contract.
- Strong in contract review, claims evaluation, dispute resolution and commercial negotiation.
- Experience with Saudi infrastructure or railway contracts is preferred.
Construction Manager (Railway)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in railway construction, civil infrastructure and large construction projects.
- Proven management of site execution: earthworks, concrete structures, drainage, track installation and related civil works.
- Experience in manpower planning, equipment allocation, subcontractor management and productivity tracking.
- Good command of drawings, specifications, schedules and site safety requirements.
- Experience on Saudi railway and SAR projects is preferred.
QA/QC Manager (Railway)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of QA/QC experience on railway construction or major infrastructure projects.
- Wide experience writing and running Project Quality Plans (PQPs), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality procedures.
- Experience preparing quality reports, inspection and test records and final handover dossiers.
- Railway quality management experience in Saudi Arabia, especially on SAR projects, is preferred.
Eligibility criteria
- Strong English, including technical reports, documentation and professional communication.
- Experience in railway construction, track works, civil infrastructure and large engineering projects is highly preferred.
- Experience in Saudi Arabia and on Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) projects is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, problem solving and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of international engineering standards, specifications, quality procedures and HSE requirements.
- Transferable Iqama (for expatriate candidates) is preferred.
- Valid membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred for engineering positions.
- Candidates must be available in KSA / Locally and able to join immediately.
