Al-Farah Group is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join its growing team in Fujairah, UAE. The role covers construction, boundary, topographic and setting-out surveys, control points and benchmarks, and survey data, drawings and reports that support engineering and construction work, including work in an offshore environment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out construction, boundary, topographic and setting-out surveys as needed.
- Take accurate field measurements and establish survey control points and benchmarks.
- Operate and look after Total Station, GPS/GNSS and other survey instruments.
- Collect, record, process and check field survey data, and carry out survey calculations.
- Prepare and review survey drawings, reports, sketches and technical documents.
- Help prepare and check coordinates, levels, elevations and quantities.
- Review land records, deeds and survey documents where needed.
- Work with engineers, project managers and site staff, and give accurate survey information to construction and engineering teams.
- Keep survey work in line with regulations, project specifications, quality requirements and HSE standards.
- Keep proper records of survey data, equipment, calibration and field work, and report any discrepancy that could affect accuracy or construction.
Qualifications & requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5+ years of surveying experience, including at least 2 years in the GCC.
- Proven hands-on experience with Total Station and GPS/GNSS equipment.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD; Civil 3D and GIS software are an advantage.
- Able to work effectively in an offshore environment.
Eligibility criteria
- At least 2 years of GCC surveying experience is required.
- Strong technical knowledge of modern survey equipment and excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work in an offshore environment.
- Candidates must be fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Candidates must be available in the UAE / Locally and able to join immediately.
