About the company
Madarek Engineering Consultants invites qualified professionals to join its design and project delivery teams for upcoming sports and turf development projects across Saudi Arabia. Priority will be given to Saudi nationals and Premium Residency holders.
Qualifications & requirements
Technical Project Manager
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. PMP/PRINCE2 is an advantage.
- 12–15+ years in consultancy/project management, including management of multidisciplinary design and technical teams.
- Experience in sports facilities, tourism developments, mixed-use developments, hospitality, recreational facilities, or major infrastructure projects. Strong experience in design management, tender documentation, authority coordination, construction supervision, technical reporting, cost/programme coordination, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
Senior Architect
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Architecture. Professional registration preferred.
- 10–12+ years in architectural consultancy, including major building projects.
- Experience in sports complexes, stadiums, recreational facilities, hotels/resorts, tourism destinations, commercial and mixed-use developments. Strong architectural concept, detailed design, specifications, authority approvals, tender documentation, site coordination, and consultant coordination experience.
Senior Civil Engineer
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Civil Engineering. Professional registration preferred.
- 10–12+ years in engineering consultancy.
- Experience in sports and tourism developments, site development, roads, parking, drainage, utilities, earthworks, infrastructure and external works. Experience with design calculations, technical specifications, BOQs, tender documents, design review, site supervision, and coordination with architectural/MEP/structural teams.
Senior Electrical Engineer
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical Engineering. Professional registration preferred.
- 10–12+ years in MEP/electrical consultancy.
- Experience in sports facilities, stadiums, hotels, resorts, recreational and tourism developments. Expertise in LV/MV systems, lighting, emergency power, generators, UPS, fire alarm, ELV, ICT, security/CCTV, access control, external lighting and energy-efficient systems. Experience with design, calculations, specifications, BOQs and authority requirements.
Architect
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- 5–8+ years in architectural consultancy.
- Experience in sports, hospitality, tourism, recreational, commercial or mixed-use projects. Proficiency in concept development, space planning, architectural detailing, materials, drawings, specifications, 3D coordination, authority submissions and construction-stage design support.
Interior Designer – Female (Saudi)
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline.
- 5–8+ years in interior design consultancy.
- Experience in sports clubs, VIP areas, hospitality, hotels, resorts, tourism destinations, restaurants, offices and public/recreational facilities. Strong experience in concept design, FF&E, finishes, furniture layouts, material selection, interior detailing, mood boards, 3D visualization and technical documentation.
Electrical Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–8+ years in electrical/MEP consultancy.
- Experience in electrical design for sports, tourism, hospitality and commercial developments. Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, ELV, fire alarm, ICT, CCTV, access control, load calculations, single-line diagrams, equipment schedules, specifications and BOQs.
Mechanical Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–8+ years in mechanical/MEP consultancy.
- Experience in HVAC, ventilation, chilled-water systems, plumbing, firefighting and building services for sports facilities, hotels, resorts and tourism projects. Experience with HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, duct/piping design, energy efficiency, specifications, BOQs and multidisciplinary coordination.
Structural Engineer
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Structural/Civil Engineering. Professional registration preferred.
- 7–10+ years in structural engineering consultancy.
- Experience in structural design of stadiums, sports halls, grandstands, hotels, resorts, recreational facilities and complex architectural structures. Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures, structural analysis, foundation design, seismic considerations, design calculations, drawings, specifications and structural inspections.
BIM Coordinator
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural, MEP Engineering, or related field. BIM certification is an advantage.
- 5–8+ years with strong BIM coordination experience.
- Experience coordinating BIM models for sports, tourism, hospitality, commercial and large multidisciplinary developments. Strong knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, BIM coordination, clash detection, model federation, BIM standards, model QA/QC, CDE workflows, multidisciplinary coordination and BIM deliverables.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must be fluent in English and Arabic.
- GCC/Saudi Arabia experience will be an advantage.
- Transferable Iqama (for expatriate candidates) is preferred.
- Valid membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred.
- Experience in large-scale commercial and residential Building projects.
- Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and quality procedures.
- Candidates shall preferably have demonstrated consultancy experience in the planning, design, technical development, coordination and/or supervision of sports, tourism, hospitality, recreational, leisure, mixed-use or other major development projects.
- Experience shall include multidisciplinary coordination, preparation and review of design documents, technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, tender documentation, authority requirements and construction-stage technical support, as applicable to the respective position.
- Senior Position Recommendation: For senior positions, candidates should preferably demonstrate experience on at least 2–3 comparable major projects.
- Sports/tourism experience may be treated as directly relevant where the candidate has substantial experience in comparable hospitality, recreational, mixed-use or major development projects.
- Candidates must be available in KSA / Locally and able to join immediately.
