About the company
Qatar Design Consortium (QDC) is a Doha based multidisciplinary architecture and engineering consultancy offering design, engineering, project management and construction supervision across buildings, infrastructure and utilities. QDC is looking for an experienced Architect to join its growing team in Doha.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and supervise architectural drawings, specifications and construction documents.
- Carry out QA/QC checks and follow project communication protocols.
- Support the Senior Architect and Project Manager in meeting project and department goals.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and supervise CAD technicians.
- Prepare presentation drawings and complete project documents to meet client expectations and deadlines.
- Follow quality, environmental, health and safety and information security requirements, keep project information confidential and report incidents.
Qualifications & requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture.
- At least 5 years of architectural experience; 2 to 4 years in Qatar is preferred.
- UPDA registration is required.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop and 3ds Max.
- Knowledge of architectural design, Qatar authority approvals, local construction practice and building regulations.
- Strong project and interdisciplinary coordination and communication skills.

- A valid Qatar ID (QID) and NOC are required.
- UPDA registration is required.
