City Construction General Contracting is currently hiring professional individuals for its ongoing and upcoming project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
📍Materials Engineer
Required Qualification & Experience:
Must be a Civil Engineer or a Geologist with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of laboratory testing and material submissions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare the QPP and implement the process as per the PQP.
• Prepare the Method Statement & ITP as per Project’s requirements and standards and follows up for approval.
• Prepare the Material submittals and get approval from the consultant and client.
• Monitor the Material Submittal works according to Project specification requirement of all construction material used in projects & submit to consultant and follow up the Material Approvals.
• Arrange Factory appraisal visits with the Client / Consultant to each Manufacturer, Fabricator, or Subcontractor and prepare the report for Client approval.
• Establish the KPI to monitor internal performance as required by the PQP.
• Arrange the laboratory for QC and QA tests at the site for Concrete works and Soil works.
• Prepare Monthly QA/QC and Dashboard reports.
• Prepare trial batches of Concrete Mix.
• Quality control for batch plant operations(concrete, aggregates pipes etc.)
• Lead laboratory team & guide them to execute the laboratory job such as material test, site field density test, material inspection at site store, etc.
• Follow up on all all-RFIs and check with a consultant at the site and take approval of executing the activity.
• Quality Control of various strengths.
• Quality control of controlling Asphalt batching plant & concrete batching plant.
• Closing out NCR.
• Preparation of Monthly QA/QC report.

📍Quantity Surveyor
Required Qualification & Experience:
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 8 years of work experience partnered with a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to implement commercial/contractual matters within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to analyze project variations and changes, prepare project reports, and analyze information for adjustments to project budget as necessary to assure a successful project for the client and the firm.
• Ability to measure works on site and from drawings including competence with electronic measurement systems.
• Ability to analyze and interpret contract conditions.
• Ability to understand, identify and assess project risks.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of Standard Methods of Measurement of construction works.
• Ability to analyze project variations and changes, prepare project reports, and analyze information for adjustments to project budget as necessary to assure a successful project for the client and the firm.

Required Qualification & Experience:
The candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in the UAE in roads & Infrastructure projects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for making all types of construction drawings from design drawings, and shop drawings to as-built drawings.
