Bin Harmal Group, a UAE construction and manufacturing group founded in 1985, is looking for a qualified HSE Officer for its road infrastructure work in Al Ain.
Job description
The officer will keep site work in line with company HSE procedures and UAE safety rules through inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor site work and make sure company HSE policies and procedures are followed.
- Carry out regular safety inspections and identify hazards on site.
- Prepare risk assessments, method statements and safety reports.
- Hold toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Keep the work in line with UAE safety regulations and project requirements.
Qualifications & requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of UAE health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Able to run site inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks and safety training.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must be fluent in English.
- UAE site safety experience will be an advantage.
