Hills and Fort Construction LLC is expanding its team and seeking a skilled, qualified, and experienced Land Surveyor to support ongoing roads, utilities, and infrastructure development projects in Dubai, UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct topographic surveys, construction setting-out, leveling, and alignment verification for roads, utilities, and infrastructure works.
- Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, reference coordinates, and site survey records.
- Perform accurate setting-out for roads, drainage networks, pipelines, underground utilities, and associated civil structures.
- Operate Total Station, GPS/GNSS, and leveling instruments to collect and verify survey data.
- Review construction drawings, coordinate schedules, survey reports, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and construction teams to ensure accurate execution of survey activities.
- Verify elevations, alignments, dimensions, and coordinates in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Identify and resolve surveying discrepancies and maintain accurate field measurement records.
- Prepare survey reports, as-built measurements, and technical documentation.
Qualifications & requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in land surveying, preferably in UAE/GCC roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
- Previous GCC experience in Roads and Utilities Infrastructure projects is mandatory.
- Proven experience in construction setting-out, topographic surveys, leveling, alignment verification, and as-built surveys.
- Proficiency in Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, AutoCAD, and surveying data processing software.
- Strong understanding of survey control networks, benchmarks, coordinate systems, and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards, project specifications, and surveying procedures.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must be fluent in English and Arabic.
- Relevant academic qualifications and proven practical surveying experience.
- Mandatory GCC experience in roads and utilities infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical, technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in field measurements.
- Immediate joiners will be given priority.
- Candidates must be available in the UAE / Locally and able to join immediately.
