Yamas Al-Arabia Construction & Contracting is looking for a qualified Land Surveyor to join its construction team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out topographic surveys, site measurements and construction setting out.
- Establish and check survey control points, benchmarks, building gridlines and reference levels.
- Take accurate levels, alignments and coordinates for foundations, columns, slabs and other structural elements.
- Check site dimensions, levels and layouts against the approved drawings.
- Prepare survey reports, field records and as-built drawings.
- Work closely with site engineers, project managers and construction teams so works are set out correctly.
- Look after the calibration, accuracy and upkeep of survey equipment.
- Report any difference between site conditions and the approved drawings.
Qualifications & requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
- 5 - 7 years of proven hands-on land surveying experience on building construction and civil engineering projects.
- Experience on residential building projects is preferred.
- Skilled with Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and other modern survey equipment.
- Strong knowledge of setting out, gridlines, benchmarks, coordinates, levels, and site measurement.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and survey software.
- Able to read architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
Eligibility criteria
- Relevant construction surveying experience is required.
- Residential building experience will be an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of modern survey instruments and field procedures.
- Good communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate well with site teams.
- Transferable Iqama (for expatriate candidates) is preferred.
- Candidates must be available in KSA / Locally and able to join immediately.
