NCC Energy, part of Rezayat Group’s Engineering & Construction Cluster, is looking for a Senior Engineer (Planning) with 10 to 12 years of planning and scheduling experience. The role plans and schedules every execution stage of its projects, supports Tendering and Proposals on pre-bid work, and gathers data from site, Materials, HR and Plant so management has an accurate picture of progress and supply schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and schedule assigned projects in line with the contract scope so they finish on time.
- Work with Tendering and Proposals at contract award to prepare the project plan and schedule by scope and cost.
- Plan the supply of materials, manpower and plant, with cost, to meet the construction schedule.
- Collect actual progress from site, compare it with the plan and report variances to the Divisional Head for action.
- Prepare progress reports for the client and management, showing status and the corrective action needed.
- Compare billing with the billing schedule and help Finance prepare project cash flow and fund flow statements.
- Check subcontractor billing against scope and plan with Project Management, and write lessons-learned reports at project close.
Qualifications & requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 10 to 12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Good working knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Good understanding of construction sequence and of material and plant capacity and use.
Eligibility criteria
- Strong communication, report writing, presentation, organising and interpersonal skills.
- Experience on Saudi Arabia or GCC construction projects is an advantage.
- Transferable Iqama (for expatriate candidates) is preferred.
- Candidates must be available in KSA / Locally and able to join immediately.
