Qualifications & requirements
Senior Civil Projects Manager
- B.E, B.Tech or B.Sc in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 15 to 20 years of experience, including 7+ years in senior management, in civil works for substations, tower lines and underground cable projects.
- Valid Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) membership and PMP certification are a must.
- Leads civil works for substations, OHTL and cable projects: equipment foundations, control buildings, cable trenches, drainage, access roads and tower foundations.
- Strong in budgeting and cost control, planning, QA/QC, subcontractor quotations, BOQs, variations and claims.
Senior Testing & Commissioning Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 15+ years in testing and commissioning of 132kV and 400kV substations (GIS/AIS), with OHTL and UGC experience.
- PMP certified, with Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) membership.
- Strong knowledge of protection relays, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, IEC 61850, teleprotection, end to end testing and energisation.
- Leads the T&C team, plans and procedures, and the TOAC, FAC and handover dossiers.
Construction Manager
- B.E or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 12 to 15 years in the construction industry.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Strong techno-commercial, project management, design and contract knowledge; AutoCAD and design software.
- Plans and mobilises resources, obtains approvals, controls cost, billing and claims, and leads site safety.
Proposal Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- 12 to 15 years in tendering, estimation and proposals for electrical construction and substation projects.
- PMP certified, with Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) membership.
- Advanced MS Excel for estimation; SAP ERP, costing software and take-off tools are an advantage.
- Leads RFQ and tender reviews, cost estimates for HV/EHV substations, GIS/AIS, transformers, SCADA and cabling, bid/no-bid and risk assessment.
Deputy Manager Electrical Design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 12 to 15 years in electrical design for simple and combined cycle power plants.
- Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) membership.
- Equipment sizing, system studies, single line diagrams, layouts, RFQs and bills of materials; ETAP and IEC/IEEE codes.
- Leads HV/MV/LV design for generators, transformers, switchgear, GIS/AIS, MCCs and UPS/DC systems.
Eligibility criteria

- PMP certification is required for the Senior Civil Projects Manager, Senior Testing & Commissioning Manager, Construction Manager and Proposal Manager.
- Experience on substation, transmission line, cable or power plant projects, as the role requires.
