Stantec is looking for an experienced Site Construction Manager in Dubai to represent the client on a building project, supervising work on site and reporting technical and progress issues to the Resident Engineer or Project Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily construction activities and site operations.
- Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants and project teams.
- Track progress, programme, resources and construction sequencing.
- Make sure works follow the approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and HSE rules.
- Find and resolve technical, construction and site coordination issues.
- Coordinate design changes, variations and additional works with the stakeholders.
- Inspect the site and monitor quality and workmanship.
- Support completion, snagging, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Make sure the project meets Abu Dhabi authority requirements and project procedures.
Qualifications & requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 8 to 12 years of construction experience, ideally on medium to large building projects.
- Proven PMC or consultant side experience in construction supervision and contractor management.
- Valid SOE and DMT registrations are mandatory.
- UAE work experience is required.
