UNIMAC is looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor for its Engineering, Technical Services team, reporting to the Chief Surveyor and working on major construction and infrastructure project sites across Saudi Arabia.
Job description
The role leads survey crews, oversees setting out, manages control points and benchmarks, and keeps survey data accurate across roads, utilities, earthworks and structures. The position is open to all nationalities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise survey crews on project sites.
- Oversee construction setting out across roads, utilities, earthworks and structures.
- Set up and manage control points, benchmarks and control networks.
- Check the accuracy of survey data, levels and as-built surveys.
- Report to the Chief Surveyor and coordinate with site and engineering teams.
Qualifications & requirements
- Diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Survey Technology or a related field.
- At least 8 years of construction surveying experience, including 3 years or more supervising survey crews.
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) classification in surveying, or an equivalent surveying certification accepted in KSA.
- Strong experience on infrastructure projects: roads, utilities, earthworks and structures.
- Skilled in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Total Stations, GNSS RTK, digital levels and survey data processing software.
- Strong knowledge of setting out, control networks, levelling and as-built surveys.
Eligibility criteria
- GCC experience is required; experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Valid SCE surveying classification or an equivalent certification accepted in KSA.
- Strong leadership, coordination and communication skills.
- Open to all nationalities.
- Transferable Iqama (for expatriate candidates) is preferred.
- Candidates must be available in KSA / Locally and able to join immediately.
