Al-Geemi Contracting Company is an Abu Dhabi infrastructure, buildings and EPC contractor founded in 1979 and part of the Bin Hamoodah Group, working for government, municipal, ADNOC and private clients. The company is looking for a Civil Procurement Engineer for its roads and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities
- Procure civil construction materials for roads and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with local suppliers and subcontractors.
- Check offers against the technical specifications and project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain procurement documents.
Qualifications & requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 5 years in Abu Dhabi in civil procurement for roads and infrastructure projects.
- Experience in the Abu Dhabi construction industry and with Abu Dhabi authorities is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, procurement procedures and infrastructure project requirements.
- Familiar with local suppliers, subcontractors, technical specifications and procurement documents.
Eligibility criteria
- Applications are open only to candidates with relevant UAE experience who are willing to work in Abu Dhabi.
- Abu Dhabi construction industry and authority experience is mandatory.
