Ali Abdul Mohsen Tamimi Sons Company is a Saudi manufacturer and contractor founded in the 1950s, with more than 70 years in steel structures, tensile membrane systems, tents and architectural fabric for government and private clients. The company is looking for an experienced Steel Surveyor to join its structural steel team in Riyadh.
Key responsibilities
- Set out structural steel and check alignment, levels, verticality and dimensions on site.
- Extract coordinates from engineering drawings and prepare accurate survey layouts.
- Establish survey control points, benchmarks and reference coordinates.
- Read steel fabrication drawings, erection plans and specifications.
- Coordinate site inspections directly with the engineering consultants.
- Prepare as built surveys, survey reports and quality control records.
Qualifications & requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Geomatics or a related technical field.
- At least 7 years of surveying on structural steel construction, steel erection and large construction projects.
- Proven work on major steel structures, industrial buildings and complex projects.
- Advanced AutoCAD 2D and 3D, including survey drawings and coordinate extraction.
- Strong with Total Stations, preferably Leica, and other modern survey instruments.
- Fluent English with good communication and technical reporting skills.
Eligibility criteria
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Structural steel surveying experience is essential.
- Candidates must be available in KSA / Locally and able to join immediately.
